Fusing world music and gypsy elements with folk and rock, her sound is characterized by flashy flamenco finger-picking, soaring vocal melodies and hypnotic rhythms. Solo, Lawless performs with guitar and cajun, creating a big sound with powerful lyrical content. As a duo, she has performed with Paul George (Tijuana Cartel), Scott French and Brennan Smith (French Butler Called Smith), Julia Rose and Katia Demeester. Her new band comprises Scott French, Brennan Smith and Alex Elfes as well as intermittent special guests on horns, harmonies and violins and is a world music extravaganza.

Felicity Lawless is launching her new EP "Rainspeak" from June 2013, which was recorded at Lovestreet Studios and features performances by Paul George, Julia Rose and Scott French among others.

She has played Island Vibe 2012, Corinbank Festival, Mardi Grass (6 years running), Surfers Paradise, Adelaide Fringe and Nannup festivals. She has played over 40 festivals with various bands, toured the East Coast 7 times, Adelaide and WA once and toured Japan in 2012.
